This stoneware dog bowl was thrown on the wheel then fired to vitrification for strength and durability. Slow cooling the kiln gave the glaze time to develop interesting variations and depth.
Wider at bottom so it will not tip over and heavy enough to make it a little harder to push across the floor.
About 5 1/2 inches wide at top. About 2 1/4 inches high. Holds 2 1/4 cups.
Food-safe. Okay in microwave and dishwasher.
