This stoneware dog bowl was wheel-thrown and fired to 2300 degrees for strength and durability. A long heat soak at top temperature and a long, slow cool allowed time for the glazes to develop colors that are varied, rich, complex. Wider at bottom so it will not tip over and heavy enough to make it a little harder to push across the floor.
6 3/4 inches wide at top and 2 3/4 inches high. Holds 5 1/4 cups.
Food-safe. Okay in microwave and dishwasher.
