Stoneware Clay. Food Safe Glaze.
This wheel-thrown, ceramic spoon rest was made of stoneware clay and fired to vitrification for strength and durability. A long heat soak at 2300 degrees gave the glaze time to fully develop a rich, variegated blue. The raised spiral in the center prevents sauce spoons from sticking.
About 6 1/2 inches across and 1 1/4 inches high.
Food-safe. Okay in microwave and dishwasher.
